Remote Service Opportunities

Our Holiday Service Initiative in 2020 helped us serve our community remotely. These are still great opportunities for you to serve wherever you are!

1. Indexing: (Chapter Goal: 1500 names) Back by popular demand, we’ve increased our goal this time! Please join the BYU Golden Key Service Initiative Group on Family Search so that we can count your efforts!

2. Letters Against Isolation: (Chapter Goal: 30 Letters) What better way to bring joy to those who might feel especially lonely this holiday season! Sign up and get started! (https://www.lettersagainstisolation.com/)

4. Optional: Sub for Santa or Color a Smile: The following opportunities are not formally a part of the initiative, but if you are looking for another service project to do with your family or ward, these are projects that will help you in your efforts to Light the World. Volunteer Notetakers for Students with Disabilities

Join BYU's Accessibility Center to become a volunteer note-taker for a student in your class who needs your help. Sign up for opportunities to be a test scribe, test reader, not taker, live reader, typist or campus traverler. There are many ways to serve the students around you as you go about your day to day studies.

BYU Y-Serve

Y-Serve is BYU's AMAZING service department. Their office is located in the Wilkinson Student Center (WILK) and their representatives would love to work with you to do service here on campus and in the community. Check out their website for more details.
